• Operates Rotary Transfer machines in a team environment. Tool monitoring and replacement, stocking and loading the machine, keeping it filled with proper cutting fluid levels, keep the machine free of chip build-up, and perform daily machine preventive maintenance.
• Meet the production rates set for each machine.
• Responsible for the quality of parts produced.
• Check and monitor parts to ensure they remain within the part specifications. Perform all necessary quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Keep accurate paperwork.
• Communicate daily with supervision, leads, other operators, and support personnel to make sure that the operation/job is completed correctly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Basic mechanical aptitude, verbal communication, and math/ reading skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and other technical information.
• Must be able to lift 35lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to be sure the machine is working properly at all times.
• Use of gauging and precision measuring instruments
• Prior machine operation is preferred but willing to train

Machine Operator Salary: $20-24 per hour, depending on experience
